Photoshop many people feel is that photoshop is a must have but at such as high price people can't afford it, but many people don't realize that there are many free photo editing software available, which offer some of the features that photoshop have but are a lot more friendly for people to use. But don't get me wrong photoshop offers a lot more features than any other free software.

PhotoScape

PhotoScape is a free editing software, developed by MOOII Tech, Korea. The concept of PhotoScape is "easy and fun", so that it allows users to easily edit photographs taken from their camera's or phones. You can edit, crop, resize, print, GIF animation's etc. But it only works for Windows and is not available for Mac.

Advantages:

• It's FREE!!!
• Very user friendly
• Quick results

Disadvantages: 

• The disadvantages of PhotoScape is that there is no Layers 
• You can't straighten images
